The critical factor to preventing devastating complications and loss of life associated with a brain aneurysm is the timing of identification, diagnosis and definitive treatment. Using telemedicine and telehealth technologies, barriers such as access, time and geography will be overcome. This advances our goal of rapid recognition, diagnosis and treatment of subarachnoid hemorrhage and other neurovascular diseases.

Unruptured intracranial aneurysms and AVMs are other neurovascular conditions that may not need immediate attention but require evaluation from a specialist for suitable diagnostic and therapeutic intervention.
