Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
Women with problems of the pelvic floor may have a range of symptoms, including problems with bladder function, bowel function and loss of support of the pelvic organs (prolapse). While usually not life-threatening conditions, these disorders can greatly affect a woman's sense of well-being and, if not addressed, may lead to depression and isolation.
In our multidisciplinary approach to caring for women with PFD, we offer extensive services for the successful diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of benign gynecologic illnesses.
Our team, led by obstetrician-gynecologists who are specialty-trained in urogynecology, is comprised of physical therapists, gynecologists, gynecologic oncologists, specialty-trained urologists, general surgeons and gastroenterologists.
