Orthopaedics: Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery

Comprehensive services for pediatric patients include the diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis, hip pathology, growth deformities, cerebral palsy, club foot deformities, and developmental and congenital abnormalities. This service also provides treatment, education, and follow-up of all pediatric acute trauma and injury.

Special Programs

Clubfoot Program (Lebanon and Manchester)

Providers follow the Ponsetti® method of treatment that includes a series of weekly castings for the infant, following by bracing. Surgical treatment is also sometimes required.

Spina Bifida Clinic (Lebanon)

The Spina Bifida Clinic provides care for children and young adults up to age 22 with a goal of keeping them in the best possible health and fostering independence; clinic specialists include a pediatric neurosurgeon, a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon, a pediatric urologist, two pediatricians who specialize in spina bifida care, a pediatric physical therapist, a nurse coordinator, and a nurse practitioner
