Pathology
Anatomic Pathology provides comprehensive examination of specimens from all body sites and tissue types through the Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology and Autopsy Pathology Services. Therapeutic plasmapheresis and leukapheresis as well as blood component preparation services are provided by the Transfusion Service.
Instructions for handling specimens and appropriate containers and fixatives may be obtained from the Pathology Laboratory's Client Response Center. A complete list of procedures is available upon request or in our lab handbook.
