Doug Parr, PharmD

Clinical Pharmacist Lead – Investigational Pharmacy

Doug Parr, Pharm.D, is the Clinical Pharmacist Lead-Investigational Pharmacy at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Parr earned his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan. He has over 19 years of experience working with hematology-oncology patients, and has precepted pharmacy students and residents. Dr. Parr is a member of the Institutional Review Board, the Internal Biosafety Committee, the Hematology-Oncology Subcommittee of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Dr. Parr also serves as the chairperson for the Clinical Trial Investigational Order Set Committee. Prior to joining the staff at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, he was the oncology clinical pharmacist at the ProMedica Health System in Toledo, OH.

Dr. Parr's area of interest in investigational pharmacy includes the continued development of clinical trial order sets and various quality improvement/assurance projects. Dr. Parr precepts residents for the elective investigational pharmacy rotation.
