Surgical Technology Program Admissions

Applications for the 2018-2019 Surgical Technology class are now being accepted. If you are considering applying and are currently enrolled in prerequisites, you can still apply. If you will be taking the prerequisites and complete them with a passing grade of a 'C' or better before the next class starts in September 2018 you are eligible. Please send official transcripts or proof of enrollment in the prerequisites to Brian Ward (see mailing address below).

Note the new requirements for 2018-2019

  • CPR (BLS)
  • College-level Anatomy & Physiology I – (taken within five years, passing grade of ‘C’ or better)
  • College-level Medical Terminology – (passing grade of 'C' or better)

Applications must include the following:

  1. Completed application form (and HR transfer request, if appropriate)
  2. Current resume or curriculum vitae
  3. Statement of interest (500 words)
  4. Two letters of reference – one professional, one personal
  5. Certified, sealed, official high school and college transcripts (applicants who received a GED should submit an official copy of certificate received from the testing institution, along with high school transcripts for period attended)
  6. Non-refundable application fee of $20.00 (cash, or check made out to: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center)
