School of Surgical Technology
Our mission is to provide the highest caliber education, training, and experience to qualified, motivated persons as regards the safe practice and professional implementation of the Surgical Technologist role.
Further, it is founded upon the concepts of individual competency, interdisciplinary teamwork, and the provision of the finest patient care and advocacy.
A Surgical Technologist (ST) is a highly skilled individual who works with surgeons, registered nurses, and other health care professionals to deliver a high standard of care in the operating room setting. In less than a year, students will have developed the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to assist members of the entire intraoperative team to achieve an optimum outcome for patients.
