Palliative Medicine
The Section of Palliative Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock focuses on the physical, emotional, social and spiritual care for seriously ill patients and their families.
We have an interdisciplinary team made up of palliative medicine specialists, nurse practitioners, a social worker, a spiritual care provider, complementary therapists and community volunteers.
Our palliative care service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for consultations on both hospitalized and home-based patients. In addition, outpatient appointments are available throughout the week.
