
Thoracic, Head and Neck Pathology



At Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, we offer comprehensive services to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of lung, mediastinum, head and neck diseases, and tumors.
This includes:
- Fibrosing lung diseases
- Lung cancers
- Oral and throat cancers
- Salivary gland cancers
- Squamous lesions
- Thymus tumors
- Thyroid tumors
The pathologists are experienced in the evaluation of complex head and neck resection specimens and lung resection specimens. We offer consultative (second opinion) reviews for all cases as well as special testing and molecular diagnostic testing (including KRAS, EGFR, and ALK mutation testing among others).
